Originally a Bostonian, New York City has been Chris Rubino’s adopted hometown since 1997. Rubino counts The New York Times, Banana Republic and The NY Public Theater amongst his various design clients. His work and voice has been heavily influenced by his printmaking background, initially focusing on posters for psychedelic rock bands and eventually onto his own artwork. His 16 year career has been polka-dotted with full-time stints at agencies firstborn, Grey, @Radical media but mostly has taken place out of a brightly lit quiet as hell studio carriage house in Brooklyn. Chris can be found there most days listening to NPR in the morning and T.Rex in the afternoon. Examples of work from those long days can be seen at the vanity site www.chrisrubino.com

Rubino holds a BFA from Syracuse University, was selected as an ADC Young Gun and has served as a Board Member on the NYC Chapter of AIGA.
